Estimates provided by Hermitage Stump Grinding Pros are based on the information and photographs supplied by the customer. Final pricing is confirmed on site once we can see the stump, the access route, and the surrounding ground conditions.
Before we grind, the customer is responsible for identifying private underground lines that public utility locating does not mark. That includes irrigation, invisible pet fencing, septic laterals, low-voltage lighting, and privately run gas or water lines. Tennessee 811 marks public utilities only, and we place that request ourselves at no cost to you.
Unless the written estimate says otherwise, grinding depth is four to twelve inches below grade and wood chips are left on site and raked level. Haul-away, topsoil, and seeding are quoted separately.
We carry liability insurance and can provide a certificate on request. Payment is due on completion unless other arrangements are agreed in advance.
